PTI's Jail-Bharu movement started from today             due to  non-scheduled elections

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is going to start Jail Bharu movement in the country from today. According to PTI, 'Jail Bharu Tehreek' will be launched from Lahore in which the party's senior leadership and workers will voluntarily surrender their arrest.

In a statement released by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, it has been said that hundreds of workers will arrive at the party office located on Jail Road in Lahore at 12:30 noon.

In the form of a rally led by Fawad Chaudhry and Yasmin Rashid from the party office, this procession will reach Charing Cross in front of the Punjab Assembly, where arrests will be made to the police.

According to Rai Shahnawaz, correspondent of Urdu News in Lahore, the government has imposed Section 144 in many areas of the provincial capital, Lahore. Gathering of more than three people has been declared illegal on both Mall Road and Jail Road.

However, the Punjab caretaker government has not yet shown any intention to arrest PTI workers. Lahore Police has also not issued any stand in this regard nor has it issued any warning.

According to legal experts, the police will arrest the workers only when they do any illegal work and any work can be handled by the police.

The police can legally arrest the workers assembled on Mall Road for violation of Section 144.

On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has issued instructions to workers in other provinces to be ready.

In this regard, a meeting of the district presidents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also been called, however, apart from Lahore, the workers in other provinces have not yet been instructed to arrest them.

According to Urdu News Correspondent Zain Ali from Karachi, "Instructions have been issued to the workers to be ready for Jail Bharu movement from Sindh."

According to the spokesperson of PTI Karachi, the preparations for Jail Bharu Movement have been completed. In the first phase, the movement will start from Lahore, as soon as the instructions are received, arrests will be made from Sindh as well.

It should be noted that on February 17, former Prime Minister Imran Khan had announced the start of Jail Bharu movement. According to Imran Khan, 'Jail Bharu movement will be started from Lahore on February 22.'

Imran Khan said that after the dissolution of the assemblies of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a nationwide jail movement is being launched against the non-release of the election schedule in 90 days.
