It is said that women are willing to try any method to enhance beauty and now men are not far behind them, but does this include letting live snails crawl on your face? Be sure this method or therapy is becoming popular day by day.

Skin care expert Mohammad Al-Haffar and his sister Reham use snails for facials at their beauty center in Damascus, Syria. 

Reham al-Haffar says this is a new technique being introduced in Syria. And many people are coming for it because people are willing to go back to natural, pure and organic things because they realize that the effects of chemicals are always harmful. 

However, this therapy in Syria may be new, but as you can see in the picture above, it is from a salon in Tokyo in 2013 that started there 9 years ago and is now a popular therapy.

However, even the thought of allowing live snails to crawl on your face makes most people cringe if asked. But users can be attracted towards it only after the experts tell about its benefits and get positive results.

It is also a fact that the use of organic food and other products has grown tremendously in recent years and has become a multi-billion dollar industry. A variety of edible masks are included.

Reham's brother Lahfar imports albino snail eggs. They breed them in a humid environment. Now they have about 1,500 snails which they also loan out to other local beauty centers.

Some people believe that using snails can moisturize the skin. But there has been no significant scientific research to prove its benefits.

A woman undergoing the therapy at Reham's beauty salon says, "I tried it abroad and it helped a lot. "Consequently, my body's pores shrank and my skin grew softer.. I was very happy to see that. That this center has sunil therapy and I will do it regularly."
